| This is a Gibson Girl
emergency transmitter. Sent CW distress message, power out about
5 watts. It was powered by a hand-crank on top. Antenna carried
aloft by either a balloon or box kite. |
Rig was an ICOM 756 PRO with no amp,
antenna is a
multi-band HF discone that's mounted on the bow. |
